I knew I would like this, it has all the markings of a 5 star book.. and thankfully This Savage Song didn't fail to meet every mark. From the very start my attention was grabbed, I wanted to know more about the world, the monsters and how music played a part within it all.

WOW!!! Just, wow. I honestly came into this book with lowered expectation. Monster themed books aren’t always my cup of tea. But this, this was amazing! The way she humanized the monsters was awesome. I absolutely loved the atmospheric setting on the story. I could easily picture a post apocalyptic city. Please read this if you haven’t already, it’s a wonderful read! I sat started reading it last night, and now 3AM, here I am still up and just finished it. Amazing story!
3.75 stars. Enjoyed this quite a bit, but not rushing to read the second book.
