Great sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends. Liked the little tie in to A Dirty Job...

More bloodletting, more crazy vampire antics, heck, more vampires this time!

Moore is a master at b-movie-ish tales!

I give this book 3 1/2 stars. It wasn't nearly as good as A Dirty Job. It was funny and clever. I just felt like it was getting started when it ended. ...more

I should give this one 5 stars for Abby Normal alone. Love, love, loved her!

This is the sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends and it continues the tale of Jody and Tommy (or C.Thomas Flood, his pen name.) It had been a while since I read Bloodsucking Fiends but Moore does enough recapping that it was easy enough to pick up. Some of the stuff with Blue and the Animals was a little draggy to me (but still peppered with lot of funny moments) which is the only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars.

Not my favorite but, any Moore book makes me laugh. I do need to pay tribute to my favorite character
Abby Normal:
"Stop," I said. "Please do not further endorken yourself to me You have great hair and a car that is most fly, and you have just saved me with your mad ninja driving skills, so do not sully your heroic hottie image in my mind by further reciting your nerdy scholastic agenda. Don't tell me what you're studying, Steve, tell me what's in your soul. What haunts you?"

Another great Moore book! I like his twisted sense of humor. The first book, Bloodsucking Fiends, was just okay for me, but I thought this book (the sequel) was much better. Looking forward to the third book, Bite Me!
