Complex, honest, and profound; this gripping novel left me with a silent realization about life. True to his words, Dostoyevsky expressed himself completely in his final novel. There are no words I could express more that hasn't been said about Dostoyevsky. Reading The Brothers Karamazov was a very worthy experience.

Not my favorite Dostoevsky novel but probably my second favorite - Someone once said everything you ever need to know about life is contained in this novel and they are probably right.
A story about patricide through the eyes of trio of brothers. This is a very experimental novel for its time. Everyone should this sometime in their life if not a couple times. A most excellent tale of a family which embodies the full spectrum of the author and his philosophical views on life, love, and religion. Very well developed characters and plot. Tragic at times and but also humorous. A great example of the "wildfire" that is Dostoevsky. If you have not read this you have definately heard people talk of it and with good reason.
