I finally read it! I must say, it was not my favorite KotLC book. I believe there were 289 pages spent in the hospital wing, so it did drag in parts. I'd give this about 3.5, maybe 3.75 stars because I love the series, but as for this book......it'd definitely be my least favorite in the series. It was still a very good book, but in comparison to the rest of the series, along with all the hopes I had for it, it just fell short.

I must admit that I don't love this one as much as I loved the past six books. The major breakthroughs and climatic events were almost too mind-blowing, and the pacing was strange to say the least. Overall, I felt that Flashback was a very interesting addition and I still enjoyed the book (as well the result of the love triangle and who Sophie will end up with!!!); however I had some issues and it could have been better than it ended up being.

So so good! I absolultely adored this book. It was significantly better than Nightfall, so I'm really glad I read it! Shannon Messenger has definitely made me glad to be a part of this fandom. Viva la Sophitz!
