When Richelle Mead said that The Fiery Heart would be her hottest novel yet, I had a good idea of what would happen between Sydney and Adrian. Thing is, I didn't realize exactly how often the hotness would sizzle through the pages, if you know what I mean. Since they are one of my favorite couples, it made me extremely happy.

Such an ugly cover... but I'm still SO excited about this book.
Adrian POV, yay!
I just hope she Richelle decides to give us someday a little something from Dimitri's POV. That would seriously make my life. No matter how much I like Adrian, Dimka will always be my guy ...more

To be completely honest, I wasn't very satisfied with this one. And I so wanted to be. It was just, nice. Felt like I was reading about their days in a normal week rather than anything interesting actually happening. It did get better towards the end, but it wasn't enough to cover for the whole novel in my opinion.
Still, it was nice to see my friends achieve some greatness, regardless of how long the high lasted.
Still looking forward to the next one, but will definitely be lowering my expectatio ...more

Amazing as always. How Sydney juggles everything and still keeps a steady head is amazing. She's constantly reinventing herself and trying to figure out who she wants to be while trying to leave a past that she was in grained to lead. I loved Adrian's vulnerability and acceptance to get help. it was a great story and a CRAZYYYYYYY cliffhanger. OMG Richelle, how could you leave me like that??? loved it. ...more

Oh my goodness! That ending! What a mind-blowing cliffhanger! The book started out slow and remained that way for quite a while, but the last couple of chapters completely made up for the slowness at the beginning of the book.
