This is a book that everyone should read. It is beautifully, clearly written and no knowledge is assumed. It raises awareness of the responsibility of this generation because the power that has been built through science could equally be used to create a great, world civilisation or to destroy everything. Wise, and educated, choices are essential. I read it partly because I am fascinated by the subject and partly because I am writing fiction based on real science.
