I really enjoyed reading this book, The first of the series.
Goodkind has a few storylines going on at a time. All of them are interesting and the book begs you to read more, (I found myself yelling at the pages quite frequently)
This is the first (serious) Fantasy series I've begun to read. For me, the most important thing is character development. If the words can attach me to a character, I will continue to read it.

Wow, this book was so amasing. Terry Goodkind uses so much vice, and makes the characters seem real, making each one have his or her own faults, as well as strengths. I was hooked from page 1. If you are into romance, adventure, and deep plots, this is for you.
Warning, gets kind of graphic at times.

I liked this book. I found it in my bros room and started reading it. It was already on my to read's list and had no idea he even had it. So I read it, and now I'm on book 2 of the series. The characters and the story just really draw me in. It's definitely worth a read.

This is the first book to a very long series. I've read them all and love each and every one of the characters (good and bad). It is my high standard to which I compare all fantasy thus far.
