Не можах да намеря точен превод на български, който да предаде правилно смисъла на заглавието. Буквално преведено “stray” означава безпризорно, бездомно животно. В контекста на романа – това е шейпшифтър без собствена глутница и съответно – без своя територия. В първия роман от поредицата Shifters (6 тома + 1 разказ) Рейчъл Винсeнт общо взето представя сетинга и правилата на магическия си свят, разказва накратко миналото на героинята и си оставя широко отворен край за продължение на историята.

I liked the story although the main character was grating on my nerves every two seconds. But the book really was too long. The whole action was just so stretched up it wasn't interesting anymore. At some point I just made myself go forward to finish it already.
I'm probably going to give the secong book a shot but let's hope it's better ...more
