This book is better than the first one, though I like that one, too. I'm amazed of the lyrics that almost each chapter starts with and contributes to the total understanding of the feelings and the emotional state of the main character- Adam. This book is told from his point of view. It's sad as the first one delving into emotions that are hard to cope with. I honestly didn't expect this much of this book. I liked If I stay a lot and thought there wasn't really any way for the second book to top that nerve-wracking expectancy.
But this book proved me wrong over and over again and I ended up loving it more than If I stay. A lot more.
