Mitch Rapp has his troubles. In the last few books Mr. Flynn has dropped back and given us Mitch's history, his beginnings in the CIA.
In the last outing we met some of the players that are here in this book. We also saw the genesis so to speak of the events here. This book while holding the mantel of action proudly around it's shoulders and being true to said mantel also manages to be somewhat of a "who done it". Good book - seemed like the book was one long set up and character development. Real action didn't come together until later. Formula - big take down - then lets meet the characters of this time - Lots of little action prices earlier after the one, too many 2 page chapters giving us who traveled where. Then very late the final action we have been waiting for ...

Mitch Rapp is back...I look forward to Flynn's work like I do Tom Clancy's...this one is the prequel part II...the follow up after AmericcanAssassin...enemies within and without as Rapp is set up during one of his hits in Paris...great character background of all the characters we've been introduced to during the stories of his mid-career...Fun-Fun-Fun!!!
