Okay, more like it. I have found myself running hot and cold in the Reacher series. There can be a huge eye roll factor in some of them...and there is a bit of that here. However...this one is very well constructed and the story pulled me in and wouldn't let go.

A reread, because I read a rumor, that the fourth season of the Amazon streaming series “Reacher,” will be based on “”Tripwire.”…On the beach and in the sun, this book is as good as it was when I read it years ago…The many scenes taking place in NYC’s Twin Trade Towers, was a constant reminder of the book’s age…I loved it again, as Reacher is drawn into a search for a Vietnam era MIA…Just great stuff, considering I also just finished an old John D. Gosh. I read this almost a year ago. I still remember some things very well. The villain is really, really horrible. He's a cruel person, but also a sociopath. I think the two things in life he really enjoys is making money and hurting people. Lee Child has a way of incorporating some very brutal people into his work. His work feels very noir to me.
