Oh-Good-Grief.

Of late I've found myself reading a series of mediocre books. This book really has no excuse. The plot while one I've seen over and over is an excellent one and lends itself to great tension and excitement.

Here we take an excellent plot premise and good idea for a protagonist and turn it into another chase and shoot book.

Good book to read while waiting for the untitled Vince Flynn to release.

Pros: Quick and easy read and I think the scale is bigger than a Jack Reacher novel.

Cons: The main characters could have been a bit more fleshed out.
A lot of situations are explained then left dangling..never to be revisited again.

Verdict: yes, I would read more by Marc Cameron with the hope that he will tighten his story and characters in the books to come. Keep it on Marc!

What an awesome book. Two in a row from first time authors that were a joy to read, this is definitely going to be a series to follow. This author has the writing style of a Brett Battles with the story telling of Vince Flynn. First read 2014. Got through books 1-4 then. Liked the series enough, but got sidetracked.
Reread 2023. I won book 6 long ago in GR giveaway and wanted to get to the point where I could actually read it and complete the series.
