I was fortunate enough to win this book from goodreads. I read Cameron's first book, National Security and I enjoyed it. Act of Terror was also enjoyable bur at times a little too much over the top. At certain points the timing was impossible in real life. Don't get me wrong I recommend this book to fans of the political thriller genre and I will be reading future novels from the author. I really enjoyed this second Quinn novel. Very strong character well supported with a band of sidekicks. I love the big Cajun character as well.. Both are gritty and very believable. The love interest in Ronnie I think will come in handy for many novels to come. Anyway, I say read this series I do believe this is going to be a keeper.. Can't wait for the next installment. 4.5 stars across the board. Give this author a shot, if your a fan of Flynn, Hagberg, Thor etc. this series is for you! ...more

Vince Flynn-ish hero...this is the 2nd in the series...I feel the same about the 2nd as the 1st...it's a decent, quick read in a genre I like...America is under attack by Islamic terrorist who are deep cover infiltrators...Quinn & his fellow operatives are in a race to save the nation...decent beach read! ...more
