It took me a while to get through this one, I had to keep bumping it to read library books so I could get them back on time. I still have 12 library books here but I just wanted to read this one. You can only hold off so long.

Loved the tales of the Earl Swagger, the father...now following up on the son...wonderful crossover plot weaving father and son through the desires of a young author's project to detal the life and death of the heroic Earl...along the way a series of past crimes and the conspiracy of cover-ups come to light...fast-paced fun read!!!

I liked this book; in fact, I liked it even more than the first from which they made the movie SHOOTER - which I thought was a great movie!
I liked how the author kept switching perspectives from father to son - from ~1955 to ~1995.
And - of course - I really liked the SHOOTER-esque action scenes!
