2nd in the series...Typical "Spec Ops" page turner...presidential and secret operations force working in our national interests to prevent Islamic terrorists from using specialized explosive technology against the US electrical grid...Logan is an interesting, bruised character...I will read the 1st in the series ...more

I loved this book! A great follow up to the first Pike thriller. After reading a few 2 and 3 star books in a row, I can truly appreciate the work put into this novel. I sure hope the Task Force and Pike Logan are kept alive and many more books in the series are written. As an author myself I can see the work that was put into this one, outstanding job. If your a fan of the genre I say buy this book today, you can't go wrong. As with all of my reviews I am not going to cut and paste what the book ...more

I read this pretty quickly. I hope that Jennifer figures out her role with the team and her limits of action soon, though. And if she is not comfortable doing what needs to be done (and with her teammates doing so), that she takes a more support role. I understand she never chose this job (just went along with it because of Pike) and she didn't come into the work like all the other operators. She comes at it from a totally different mindset.
