I've been in the mood for good action reads lately. I have recently gone through a slump where nothing appealed. I read several books that left me...well cold.

Great book - even though written in 1992, still loved the action and the character. Glad I read this one before reading The Informant which is also a Butcher's Boy novel. Not that it will detract from the enjoyment of the 3rd book, but will now have a bit more history with the characters.

Not bad, but I had to drag myself through the last 40 pages or so.

Very good. The characters are evolving in this series, in a good way. Compelling plot.
