This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I did like the book, I don't think as much as some others, but I did like it. Of course, Luca was a cheater and that pissed me off royally even though I knew it was coming, so it got dropped a star for that.

However, I did like how he was patient with Aria. How he didn't force her to sleep with him on their wedding night. In fact, he took steps to protect her. I liked that he was possessive and protective of her.

There were tropes used in here that I don’t like, however in the circumstances I didn’t care because I loved overall story. I really loved the love story between Aria and Luca. I loved Luca even though he wasn’t upstanding citizen, however his devotion and love for Aria was perfection. For me, that was the most important thing. Once he was devoted, he was devoted. I was goo after that. I freaking fell in love hence giving this a five stars.

Book 1 in the Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles

This book is about Luca, the Vice, Vitiello and Aria Scuderi. Aria and Luca's parents enter into an arranged marriage when she's only 15 years old. The wedding is set for after she turns eighteen. Aria always knew that part of being born into the Chicago Mob meant she'd be married off to another mobster. Little did she know she was being given to the future Capo of the New York Cosa Nostra, Luca. Luca is deadly and intimidating. Aria still finds him im Book 1 in the Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles

I did enjoy this book and immediately jumped into Bound by Duty. But, there were things I didn't like. The biggest one was Luca (view spoiler) Other than that, the middle dragged a bit. I did LOVE the ending though! Even though it was said that it took (view spoiler)
