[close] It's a new adult book. The characters are 18 yrs old. However, the main character Keiran is a complete hottie. To read this story you would think you were reading an adult story. To give you a little hint Keiran is no mere boy. As a child he was raised to be an assassin. Now he is an 18 yr. old high school man. I can't say boy because he is no boy. He is extremely possessive and domineering. I promise that you will love this nook.

Nope. DNF @ 20%. The h is definitely TSTL. Nothing makes sense. She would dump her only friend and she would crawl on all fours with panties stuffed in her mouth but licking his shoes is somehow a hard pass? C’mon, girl, you can totally do it.

Second try

So I read this back in 2015 and dnf'ed it. Keiran was too much for me to take. I downloaded it from Amazon and realized I had read it before after a few pages. I decided since I had read about 40% of it before I would pick up from there . I do admit it got better twards the last half but it's still far fetched. I am going to give the next book a try and judge from there. ...more

So, I just wanted to justify my 4 star rating for this book. The book itself is awesome. The writing and characters are amazing. But for me this book was too much. Personally, you need a thick skin to get through some of the scenes . I was never into the 50 shades of gray thing and I definitely can't get into a sexually abused 18 year olds. So, I ended up reading half of it and skipping to the end just to know what happened. I wish I could handle these scenarios better it's not for me. ...more

Ok I was t sure if I would like this. I had to look at it like they were in college not high school then it became more convincing. I just didn't buy that these people were high schoolers. And while I understood where Kieran was coming from he was a very twisted antihero and I thought he went too far with the bullying and taunting.
