This is not my favorite in the series, but it still had some great sexy times and action! I like Nick and I like Hayley, but I’m not sure I like them together. Nick carries so much baggage and guilt...not to mention the torch he still carries for Des...that it’s difficult to believe he could overcome everything enough to make things work with Hayley. I felt the romance between Nick and Haley was so so, mostly due to the role that Des played in things. I didn't like how Des played everyone and now those in power seemed to let her.
I actually found Ian and Damon's quips to be the high light of the book. I loved how each of them were ready to rip anyone about what was going on. Oftentimes in those one liners was some good advice. ...more
