It has taken several days after finishing this book to organize my thoughts and formulate an opinion as to what I thought of this book. There were parts of this book that were so captivating that anything less than a 5 star review seems unfair, and yet there were parts of this book that were so bad that I struggled through with eye rolling and frustration. There was so much going on in this one, the story taking place at so many different places in time. I was happy to learn somethings, blah on some and not sure about others. The one thing I do know for sure is that I still don't like Tommy, think he is a manipulative bastard. I like the choice that Ginny made at the end to reach out, can't wait to see what happens from here. ...more

I started the first book and ran with it, twisting and turning. Loving it. Getting lost in its maze. I then started the second book, but quickly realized that I wasn’t enjoying the maze anymore.

I finished book two - not out of joy, but obligation. I can’t just stay in the middle of this maze - so I finished book two.

The ending of book two has sparked my interest, and I think I might enjoy the journey again in book three. I am hopeful that the effort that it took to finish book two might be worth ...more

I was happy, mad, and sad at various times reading this second book. *SPOILER*I was so happy to find out that my suspicion was right and Grizz is not dead!* I look forward to seeing if Ginny and Grizz get a HEA, and to resolve the issue with her twin sister and see who see ends up with. I will be impatiently waiting for Ms. Flynn's next book, as with Nine Minutes, she blew my idea of the end right out of the water and left endless possibilities open at the end of this book.
