What Members Thought
I had hoped that this book would be in the same vein as Comfort Food or Captive in the Dark, sadly for me it didn't. I found Sebastien to be a bully, one who blamed his behavior on his work, one who everyone made every excuse for, one who didn't even like himself very much. Taylor was a doormat, but then again she needed to be, she had to roll with Sebastien's moods, often changing minute by minute. This is just not for me. Not going to bash or critique, just not what I look for in a book.
11/12 REVISED - I picked it back up and finished. It seemed to pick up in pace and dialogue, bringing up to a somewhat entertaining read. Disclaimer is more for effect than actually applicable. Still nothing I would rave about, but I wouldn't be opposed to picking up the next in the series if it was a Kindle Unlimited or 99 cents. ...more
