Re-read: Probably at some point. Not on a bare-bones readthrough.
Recommend to: Hardcore Star Wars fans and big fans of the movie.
This one was more engaging to me the ANH. The quality of writing is about the same, but I think it just had a lot more action that is fun to read while ANH was more setup that followed the movie pretty closely.

Very good read. The story moves along quickly and yet the characters experience significant growth along the way.
