This book had quite the slow start. About half way through, I was trying to figure out why I always thought this was a good book. Luckily, the last 1/3 or so is pretty awesome and makes the slow start worth it. (view spoiler)

I think that this book was pretty well done! Despite what the author had claimed that he had only a few moments to write this book. The book though seemed self-enclosed, in the sense that whatever happened in this story, ended inside here as well (in terms of the big huge major stories, not minor plots - yes I consider the entire Orbalisk thing a minor plot even though it runs as a major thing).
