Dynasty of Evil is the third book in Drew Karpyshyn's trilogy about Darth Bane and the Old Republic. The action in the three books takes place about a thousand years before the time of A New Hope. This was a decent ending to the first Star Wars trilogy (chronologically) worth reading. It isn't the masterpiece that I remembered it being, but I blazed through it in a couple of days and enjoyed myself. There were some really cool scenes. Ultimately, this entire trilogy was leading up to (view spoiler). I'd say it did a decent job in delivering on that. I'm conflicted on the ending. (view spoiler)
