What Members Thought

This book told the origin of Outbound Flight, gave the first glimpse (chronologically) of Thrawn and told of Jorus C'baoth and his obsession. I think it was good background for the events in the Heir to the Empire Trilogy. Unfortunately I found the story a little flat, and actually wished that Obi-Wan and Anakin hadn't been involved, if just to give some of the other characters a little more time and spotlight.

Re-read? Yes, but largely dependent on how much I like Survivor's Quest. This would be relatively low on the re-read list.
Recommend to: Medium to hardcore SW readers.
This ended up being a more than serviceable Star Wars novel and should definitely be included if you are into the majority of the EU. It doesn't need to be read in chronological order I don't think because it doesn't seem to need to fit into the timeline and it may be better to read this towards the end where the events of t ...more
