John Jackson Miller's novel "Knight Errant" is a novelization of his popular Dark Horse comic book series about an ass-kicking young Jedi named Kerra Holt who is stuck in Sith-occupied space during the era of the Old Republic, attempting to save the enslaved peoples of each planet upon which she arrives. This was one of the best Star Wars books I've read in a while. The storyline was interesting and Miller had some unexpected plot twists in there. Two of the main characters reminded me very much of Han Solo and Leia Organa; although their relationship didn't end like Han and Leia's did.

It wasn't too bad, just a bit slow for my tastes. I was expecting a bit more Jedi actgion, and not so much Sith lunacy. Seems like every Sith lord encountered was crazy to one degree or another
