Previously in New Jedi Order, you may think that Jacen Solo is overly-philosophical. I'll tell you now that Vergere makes him seem like a blubbering baby.
When I read one of Matthew Stover's other books, the novelization of Episode III, I really enjoyed his writing style. One of my favorite Star Wars books.
5/23/24--Listened to audiobook at work. Not a bad listen, but Jacen's moral wondering about the Force got to be a bit much. Still can't stand Vergere, but what she did with Jacen leads very much into what happens in later series. Ganner's last stand is still my favorite. ...more
