In author Charlaine Harris's eighth Sookie Stackhouse novel Sookie is dealing with problems close to home.
I was very surprised to find that Sookie did not travel somewhere in this book. Especially since she has in all the other books, except the first novel.
One of the main plots and problems for Sookie this time around is coming from the Were War. The Shivport were pack is separated and the death of female pack members escalates things fast.

Second time around and I am still loving this series. I can't believe all of the little things I missed on my first go with this book. Makes me look at some of the characters a little differently.
