I received an ARC of this book through the First Reads program.
I couldn't put this book down, i love it.
A sixteen year old, Kylie Galen got sent off to Shadow Falls Camp, after getting caught at a party with alcohol. The kids at Shadow Falls Camp aren't normal troubled teenagers. Kylie discover that they are witches, vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and fairies. The camp is for them to train their powers. I'm pleasantly surprised... :)
For some reason I had very low expectations for this book but it proved to be a quick and fun read. What I found a little bit annoying was that the main "action event" took place on about 1 page and didn't make any sense whatsoever... and it was booooring! But I really liked the rest of the book where it takes you along the ride to discover that Kylie Galen isn't as normal as she thought she was. Beside her everyday problems (her parents getting a divorce, her boyfr ...more
