I really should have read the three stories in this anthology individually - but I read them all in a rush, since there's an enormous waiting list at the library and I wanted to get it on to the next patron as soon as I possibly could.
Unfortunately, the flaws in Dokey's writing become more apparent when you read them together, because it's the same flaws in all three.

When I opened this book and read the first chapter I was tempted to write Ms. Dokey and say, "This is not how the story of Repunzel goes!" Because everyone knows that Repunzel has hair the length of a tower, in this book she was bald! But as I read on I was captivated by the cleverness of the story, and by the end of it I had no complaints at all. Quite the opposite!
