This book starts off a teensy bit on the slow side and has a slightly more omniscient narration style than I'm used to which took me a couple of chapters to get used to, but once I was used to it found myself really enjoying.
Emily was brilliant. I'm not sure there's any other way to describe her. I adored her completely. She has a tough time of things but she just handles it all brilliantly and is so relaxed.

This book unfortunately wasn't for me.
I liked the idea of the story, and the main character Emily. But, I found it just a bit too far fetched for my liking.
At the beginning, Emily was a quiet girl into her martial arts, then her Dad lets her in on a huge family secret which involves them running away. She then decides to go back to her School alone, and suddenly has lot's of friends and seems to have gained a super-woman status.
