I thought the beginning premise for this book was quite good and the general plot idea was pretty unique but unfortunately it wasn't executed as well as it could have been.
The frequent references to the armies amassing for battle were rather repetative. Each time the characters had the dream about it, it was explained again in a slightly different way which I found really boring and I ended up skimming large chunks of it.
I also really didn't like how often there was domestic violence in this boo ...more
