This was an ahhhh-mazing book!!! And I can't wait for the sequel!!! I loved every page and couldn't put it down!!! Veronica Roth is an author to watch and Divergent is a series to obsess over. <3
Now that the gushing part is out of the way, we can get down to business. Everything about this book was awesome. The characters were well-rounded, as was the dystopian world they were set in. This book ended in a kind of cliff-hanger, so it is seriously makin ...more

I could not put this down and I will have a review up soon.
This is such a well written and thought-provoking book. The author just knew how to make you care for the characters. I felt that I was there and I didn't want it to end. At times I felt myself wincing when Tris would get hit or I felt like screaming to help get someones attention when she was in danger . I also blushed at the kissing seen between her and Four. I think it was because they were in my head and my heart. That just doesn't h ...more

It's official. My faith in dystopian novels has been restored. It took me forever to get my hands on this book and I was wondering whether it would be worth it. It totally was. It wasn't the usual boring hello the world is over, everyone is dead, run for your lives book. This had something totally different with the factions and the choice everyone has to make when they're sixteen. I have to say though, I know this book takes place in Chicago but...what about the rest of the world? There was no

This book started out slow. I think I felt that way because I don't understand why the factions really formed. How that would seem beneficial to a society. And I thought Tris's choice to join Dauntless seemed rash and didn't make sense to me either. But the rest of the book was good and the ending was great. Loved the romance in the book. It felt real, so much more than any other teen book I've read lately, and for once there was no love triangle! I am a big fan of that. I liked Tris too. She wa

It started off a little bit slow but really picked up in the second half. I couldn't put it down.
I'm a little late on this band-wagon but I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to finishing off this series in one go.
