I have read Gone With the Wind at least 2 times and it continues to be one of my favorite books.it is both plot and setting driven. The Civil War is brought to life by Ms Mitchell's description and the characters have become beloved in American Literature. Who can forget Scarlett O'Hara and Mammy? A must read. ...more
