It was like a western Romeo and Julia but luckily the hero and heroin didn't die in the end.
It's one of the best native american books involving romance that i have read even though i was left with a bitter taste in my mouth after i have finished reading it.

It pains me to give a Catherine Anderson book 3 stars. It really does. I LOVE her books, LOVE them. I devour them faster then a Reeses Cup (and I may have already said that in a review of one of her other books). But for some reason I just couldn't get into this story. It dragged on for me. Probably because I am used to Ms. Anderson's characters falling in love and admitting it early on in the books. Our H/H just struggle throughout this book. I really liked this book. I donno if it's because I didn't come across historical romance with indians so it had something new in it for me or because it was just that good. Probably both =]
