I think that this book could be enjoyed by just about everyone ages 12 and up. There is some swearing, but no sex and minor violence.

The game was super to me. I could really see kids getting that wrapped up into it, especially those who were not very popular in school. I would hope that most would have drawn the line at (view spoiler)

One star removed for the prose-a bit undeveloped at times (because of the translation?), but a brilliant concept for a novel that plays out like a quest.
