WOW. This book was the big surprise of the year for me. I added it to my to-read shelf a while ago thinking it had a cool cover and interesting premise––but otherwise, I hadn't really heard anything about it. I picked it up from the library last week, hoping it would be as cool as I hoped it would be.

AND IT WAS! AAHHHH.

Shelves: read-in-2016

This is not a book I would have normally picked up on my own but it was my groups monthly read so I decided to give it a whirl and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed this one- especially on audiobook. I have heard there was some different text/font throughout the print book that some liked and others didn't so for me obviously this was a non issue. I thought the audiobook narrator did a fantastic job of interpreting that text and capturing the voices of the three main characters. I really like tou ...more

a wonderful, haunting, breathtakingly exciting what if story about the real world dystopia the world could've known had WWII been won by the Axis powers.
