I picked up this book because I had heard so many great and wonderful things about it... without any spoilers. So I grabbed it from the library without even reading the cover. Upon first opening the book I saw a map a few pages in. You know what they say, "it's not truly a fantasy novel unless you have a map" so that was my first clue for what was in store.

I really liked this one. I listened to it on audio and it was different from most audiobooks because it had music and multiple actors, but once I got used to it, I liked it. Anyway, I thought this book was really well written and I felt part of Katsa's world. I liked that it had humor, action, and a love story that was actually believable. On top of that, I have a slight crush on Po, which also helped my rating. ...more

This book is one of my favorites. It has everything from romance to betrayal to action. Very good book. I would recomend it to anyone and to everyone. Its great for guys and for girls.
