I expected powerful, but didn't expect such gorgeous prose, making this one excellent on multiple fronts. Important, and incredibly well told.

Thanks to the publisher for a complimentary hardcover - wow!
I don't think the plot really matched the description given on the flap, but that's okay because this book is so much more than the suspense novel it portrays itself to be. It's a gritty indictment of rape culture and a society that disbelieves the experiences of girls and women. This wasn't an easy book to read, but the tone only amplifies the importance of the message. ...more

This was a book that demanded I devour it. Can't be read in little bits. And must immediately be shared with someone who will appreciate its craft. Loved this.

All The Rage is a tough book about a teen girl's experience with violent rape and a high school filled with mean, nasty and horrible students. It is set in a small town with working class characters. The tone is gritty and there is a lot of drinking and realistic language.

This is a little tricky for me to review - it was about the 3rd or 4th YA rape book I'd read in a row, and was getting frustrated with the self-loathing, victim-blaming, etc., Then once again I became aware of the burdens placed upon rape victims through the amazing activism of college-age victims & their supporters. Guess I should just learn to pace myself with this kind of YA lit.
