This book was heart-wrenching, but not overly sentimental. I read this in about a day, because the writing kept me so engaged I had to figure out the connections between the characters. I won't go into detail, because I would gush so much about this book and feel like it would need a spoiler alert. The writing is lovely and I believe the author gets what it means to be a teenager in the modern age.
