Amy Goodnight would rather not be called a witch. She is at her Aunts Texas ranch to take of the goats, not ghosts, for the summer. She is the rational one of the family. But circumstances change, and Amy is forced to deal with a super creepy ghost haunting, a guy who can't figure out if she would rather hug or strangle,an old mystery with some equally old bones, and a sister who just can't even pretend to normal in any circumstance.

An absolutely fun & fantastic read. It's light enough to be read for fun, but it's also worth 15 Accelerated Reader points. Great chick lit with a delightfully creepy feel.

Add in a college age cutie in the throes of denial regarding her family's paranormal talent and her Gidget-like Ghost hunting sister and you have a fun and creepy book perfect for late-night reading. I honestly hope to see more of Amy Goodnight and her sister Phin. The romance element was good - not perfect, but intriguing enough that I would like to re

Definitely an homage to Nancy Drew - and possibly Scoobie Doo. Fun read.
