This book is amazing and moving. Tight plotting, innovative narrative structure that twists upon itself, stunning revelations. This well-crafted novel speeds along two timelines and the inevitable crash of past and present unfolds with such grace and passion. This is one of those books I will put in students hands because if their lives aren't this bleak, they can learn to have empathy and compassion through this. My students who love Andrew Smith's STICK will love this fast-paced read.
