What Members Thought
I thought that the overall story and most of the writing was brilliant, but I honestly got a bit tired of the way the narration was handled. The commentary on people [and their deaths] and events was fine, but in a couple of cases the narrator flashed forward in a way that took me out of the story. The whole "and oh, by the way, something horrible will be happening to these people later in the book" thing was just aggravating. I really liked the portrayal of Death himself.
