It is difficult to figure out the target audience for this book, but it's clever and well-written. It feels like it belongs in the same genre of fiction as The Wizard of Oz, Through the Looking Glass, and perhaps the works of E. Nesbit, but with various modern twists.

For those who love Lewis Carroll, Frank Baum, CS Lewis, JM Barrie, and a little Norton Juster thrown in for good measure. The language in this is not for your typical 9 to 12 year old.
