I don't always like fairy tale rewrites, but this one is twisted enough that it works. When your mother dies while trying to give you your name, and dies after the syllable "Rump..."
I think that kind of situation is going to give you a destiny, whether you wanted one or not. In this case, it's a destiny of being tormented over your name, but there's a lot more to the story than that.
