What Members Thought
This was a surprisingly intense and introspective book about personal religious beliefs, surrounded by a fairly goofy story about 6th-grade girls entering puberty. For Margaret, God was not something to be found in church or temple services, but instead to be addressed in private conversations. These were not so much prayers in the traditional sense, but instead treating the Creator as a parent of all things, to be talked to reasonably in an effort to get things to happen your way.
