Very simply, I couldn't put it down, once the real story kicked in...and then the really real story kicked in a couple of chapters later.
The only reason I didn't give this a fifth star is that we never saw enough of Clea in the opening chapters to figure out what she saw in Cody. It would have been nice to know that it was something more than just physical attraction at that point.

Started out strong as the guy from the "wrong side of the tracks" travels across the country to help find his missing girlfriend. A bit disjointed toward the end but nicely suspenseful.
