I found this book to be more believable and interesting than its companion volume, Stuck In Neutral. Too much of that book seemed like wish-fulfillment on the author's part. This one, focusing on the "normal" brother and his life, was very powerful. Seeing the cerebral palsied brother from the outside, instead of from inside his head, it's easier to understand the conflicted feelings of his family.
