I had some small quibbles with the police interactions not quite making sense, but overall this was an excellent and moving story. Some of it would clearly only work in a small town, but the café setting was so quirky and goofy that it was delightful. Mo's attempts to find her mother were really great, but her detective skills were what really made the story. ...more

Mo has a great voice and ranks right up there with other greats of fiction who are old beyond their years.
