This is an excellent overview of the plot to kill Lincoln and the direct aftermath. Shortened from the adult book created by the same author, it glosses over details of politics and such that might be too complex for this work. The photos and other images are very helpful, as are the maps. The map of the area around the Ford Theater isn't as common as some of the photos, but the map of Booth's attempted escape is very good.
